Live in Kansas City

Kansas City has earned a reputation for being one of the best places to live in the nation – and for good reason. It offers an affordable cost of living, friendly atmosphere, low crime rates, renowned schools, active nightlife, dedicated sports scene, and some of the most famous shopping and restaurants in the world.

The living amenities range from urban lofts to old-style neighborhoods to sprawling suburbs. Kansas City’s neighborhoods are as diverse as its residents.

Kansas City hosts a vibrant arts and culture scene that is supported by a variety of venues and events. Tour the galleries and street scene on First Fridays in the Crossroads Art District. Have a date night with the symphony or Broadway production at the new Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts. Stroll the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art on a Saturday afternoon. Or enjoy a play under the stars at Starlight Theater’s grand outdoor stage in Swope Park.

Kansas City residents also participate in an active professional sports scene that includes the Kansas City Chiefs, Kansas City Royals, Sporting Kansas City, and the Missouri Mavericks to name a few.  At last count, we had 12 professional sports teams plus NASCAR.  We’re also wild about college sports in this town.

And there’s no missing the renowned cuisine around here, especially the BBQ.
