Celebrate Stouterdays – A Dark Beer Bash at Casual Animal Brewing Company
A tap takeover featuring dark lagers, porters, and stouts from 11 KC metro breweries

Casual Animal Brewing Company is excited to present "Stouterdays," a five-day dark beer celebration showcasing the finest dark brews from Kansas City’s local microbreweries. Running from October 31 through November 4 as a tap takeover in our Original Taproom, Stouterdays is a tribute to the rich, bold flavors of the season and a toast to Kansas City’s thriving beer community.
Highlights of Stouterdays include:
- 11 dark beer selections from top local breweries, including Alma Mader, Big Rip, Border, Cinder Block, City Barrel, River Bluff, Strange Days, Stockyards, Torn Label, Vine Street, and Casual Animal.
- Curated beer + candy flight pairings, allowing guests to explore unique flavor combinations and experience each beer’s complexity.
- Special events each day like free cold brew samples from Cerberus, tarot readings by Lady MoG, and a casual Sunday brunch to round out the festivities.
From imperial stouts to smooth porters and innovative nitro brews, the event will feature an exciting range of dark beers, each playfully paired with a candy that complements or contrasts its flavor profile. Featured brews and candy pairings include Alma Mader’s Tamper Imperial Porter with a Heath Bar, Casual Animal’s Ink Ruler Root Beer Nitro Stout with Hive+Harvest’s local Pecan Brittle, and Strange Days’ Engine Oil Imperial American Stout paired with a Midnight Milky Way.
