CONGRATULATIONS JENNIFER INGRAHAM, 2023 BERNARD POWELL AWARD RECIPIENT

We are pleased to announce Jennifer Ingraham as the 2023 recipient of the Bernard Powell Award. Jennifer Ingraham is a champion of women, the arts, healthcare, and our city’s philanthropic spirit. Jennifer has dedicated her professional career to bettering this city through her roles in the nonprofit sector including the UMKC Foundation, the Kansas City Repertory Theatre, Park University, and the Kansas City Symphony. Currently, she serves as the Vice President of Philanthropy and Alumni Relations, at Kansas City University (KCU), where she helps address our region’s healthcare and dental needs. She’s assisted in expanding education and preparedness programs for medical professionals by opening KCU’s new College of Dental Medicine in Joplin, MO., in the fall of 2023. Her positive contributions go far beyond her professional impact, through her volunteer work at various local organizations including United WE, WIN for KC, and more. Jennifer carries on the spirit of Bernard Powell through her unwavering commitment and passion for improving Kansas City.

Isaac Lee Collins is a community entrepreneur, business coach, and speaker. He started his entrepreneurial journey fresh out of college at 23 years old. Fast forward eleven years and Isaac has had the honor of owning 7 for-profit businesses and one nonprofit in a variety of industries from brick-and-mortar food, real estate investing, construction, health supplements, kid’s yoga, to professional services. Currently, Isaac owns three Yogurtini Self-Serve Frozen Yogurt stores (Plaza, Shoal Creek, and Overland Park locations), Superhero Yoga (a kid’s yoga nonprofit), and his business coaching company called Streamlined Profit Academy. QUINDARO UNDERGROUND MUSEUM VISIT AND TOUR

Attend this event to learn more about the history of the Vernon School now used as the Vernon Multi-Purpose Center. Its mission is to function as an outreach facility, serving Wyandotte County citizens. The Center's purpose and goal is to enhance the general, physical, and well-being of the community it serves. CENTURIONS CHEER ON SPORTING KC

May 13, 2023
5:30-10:00 p.m.

The event will be at Children's Mercy Park and we will have a chance to cheer on Sporting KC as they take on Minnesota United FC from the Mazuma Mezzanine. Each ticket to the game comes with food and beverages included. The game starts at 7:30 PM, however, Sporting Park will open up two hours before the match. This event is co-supported by Mazuma Credit Union and Sporting Kansas City.

This event is Centurions only due to a limit of 60 available tickets which will be first come first serve. We will be collecting a donation for each ticket that will support Victory Project. Register here >>

RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE CHARITIES OF KANSAS CITY PRE-DRAFT EVENT

5-8:00 p.m.

RMHC-KC is hosting Trent Green’s House Party on April 26, 2023, at Leinenkugel's (Power & Light) to help RMHC-KC’s mission of supporting and providing housing to the families of seriously ill children. The event will feature Trent Green, current and former NFL players, on-air personalities, and other special guests. Following the event, Coca-Cola will present country artist Lainey Wilson on the Kansas City Live! main stage. RMHC-KC needs 6 Centurions Alumni volunteers to assist the Charity in selling unique handkerchiefs and bandannas to the crowd before the concert starts. Register here >>
