Healthy KC brings Comfy-Cozy Nests to Kansas City

Healthy KC partnered up with the REACH Health Care Foundation and Sesame Street in Communities to bring Comfy-Cozy Nests to Greater Kansas City. A school district and three early child learning centers in the Greater Kansas City region are now home to these trauma-informed, safe spaces for children. Using the beloved Sesame Street Muppets as agents for comfort, these spaces feature media-based tools from Sesame Street in Communities, from videos to coloring pages to storybooks, that will bolster children’s self-confidence and provide supportive outlets for identifying and expressing their emotions.
