KC Chamber Announces 2022 Small Business Superstars

We love small businesses, and on this Valentine’s Day the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce is excited to recognize the 2022 Small Business Superstars.

This year, Kansas Citians across the region submitted 2,162 of their favorite small businesses! The KC Chamber then notified each of these Superstars and gave them access to exclusive resources, a digital marketing kit, and window clings for their business. This is the second year the Chamber has recognized Small Business Superstars. The list of 2022 Superstars is attached.

“It’s wonderful to be able to recognize more than 2,000 of KC’s small businesses,” said Vicky Kulikov, Small Business Director. “We’re in the third calendar year of this pandemic and small businesses have faced some of the biggest challenges. But they’ve kept our region moving forward thanks to their non-stop innovation, focus, and resiliency. We hope that shining a spotlight on these amazing businesses keeps them going strong.

All the Small Business Superstars are now invited to become Chamber members if they are currently not, and to apply for the 2022 Small Business of the Year or one of the Specialty Awards. Applications are open now through March 22.

The KC Chamber Small Business Celebration has been a business community mainstay for more than 30 years. It’s recognized as one of the largest Chamber small business celebrations in the United States. The Small Business of the Year receives the coveted Mr. K Award, named for Ewing Kauffman, entrepreneur and philanthropist. To be named Small Business of the Year signifies that a company that has shown growth or sustainability of their business with strong employee relations, a record of giving back to the community, and prioritizes diversity, equity, and inclusion.
