Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce Selects Ruckus as Digital Agency

After a review that included a dozen local agencies, the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce (the Chamber) has awarded website design and development responsibilities to Ruckus Creative Group (Ruckus).

Ruckus and the Chamber have entered into a new partnership, as the Midwest-based agency assumes responsibilities as creative and digital agency for the Chamber’s web presence. With a 10-year history of serving many member- and donor-based organizations, Ruckus is in a unique position to understand the needs of the Chamber, a long-standing member-based Kansas City entity. Ruckus will help lead strategy, design, and development within the digital realm.

“We want to increase the Chamber’s brand reach, maximize the stories and accomplishments of our partner organizations and members, and drive engagement,” said Melanie Mattes, senior vice president of marketing for the Chamber. “In our search for an agency partner, it was Ruckus Group’s strategic thinking, collaborative approach, and willingness to work closely with our in-house marketing team that we believe will best help us achieve our goals. Work is already underway, with an overall projected launch date of November 2024. As the Chamber moves through its 137th year, new campaigns and community outreach efforts are a top priority. A new website will be integral to this engagement. Ryan Chamberlin, partner and CTO, Ruckus, is leading the team working with the Chamber.
