While learning has gone virtual in many area school districts, Green Works in Kansas City has safely been able to serve a small group of Kansas City Public School high school students this fall in an expanded sustainable business program called the Green Works Lab. We're offering the Green Works Lab with funding support from the Missouri AfterSchool Network (MASN), the Mid-America Regional Council (MARC) and QuikTrip.

Fifty-five percent of Americans believe they can start their own business. In our program, 72 percent of the students indicated they want to start their own business! We greatly appreciate the commitment of MASN, MARC and QuikTrip to improve access to high-quality education for students after school, particularly groups who are under-represented among adult entrepreneurs.
