Kansas City, MO - May 19, 2024 - May 20,2024 - Operation BBQ Relief invites all to join their Annual Heroes Benefit Weekend, a one-of-a-kind two-day event full of epic BBQ, fundraising, golf, and celebrating heroes and their families. Dedicated to honoring military service members, past and present, first responders, and their families, this weekend’s fundraisers will support Camp OBR, our retreat on Lake of the Ozarks, built to enrich the lives of our heroes and their families through culinary therapy.

Heroes Benefit BBQ 

Join us for an evening of BBQ so good, we call it "Black Tie BBQ!”

Sip craft cocktails, enjoy dueling pianos, bid on fantastic auction items, and hear heartwarming stories of resilience and heroism, while supporting Operation BBQ Relief's mission to feed communities after disasters and enrich the lives of heroes every day.

Heroes & Celebrity BBQ Academy & Golf Tournament

Calling all golf & BBQ lovers!

Join our annual golf tournament and experience the best of both worlds. Your golf team will tee off on one of the finest courses in Kansas City, all while sampling BBQ from some of the best pitmasters in the game and sipping cocktails along the way.

If you love BBQ, but golf just isn’t your thing,

Our BBQ Academy course is made for you! Grab a team of four for a fun and fast-paced journey into the art and science of BBQ. You’ll visit different stations scattered across the golf course, where you’ll master the tools of the trade, explore the differences between hot-n-fast and low-n-slow techniques, and learn how to create the greatest grilling and BBQ dishes you’ve ever tasted.
