Spectrum: Supporting Students, Teachers, & Our Communities

As we feel the impact of COVID-19, Americans are relying on high speed broadband more than ever before. As a company, we want to help ease the strain during this challenging time, particularly for students and teachers who are relying on distance learning. Charter (under our Spectrum brand name) has committed to the following for 60 days, beginning Monday, March 16:

Charter will offer Spectrum Internet up to 100 Mbps for FREE, including in-home Wi-Fi, to new subscriber households with teachers or K-12 or college students for 60 days.*

• Our Spectrum Internet Assist service, available to qualified low-income families, will also be offered for free for those not already enrolled in the program.
• Free self-installation kits will be provided for new subscriber households.
• Spectrum Internet has no data caps and no hidden fees.
• Charter will partner with school districts to ensure local communities are aware of these tools to help students learn remotely.

Charter has opened its Wi-Fi hotspots across our footprint for public use.
