FROM THE KC CHAMBER'S PRESIDENT AND CEO

As children, we dream about what we want to be when we grow up based on the working example of the adults in our lives. As adults, we try to secure high-quality educational systems for future members of our workforce, knowing this is the key to helping them achieve their dreams. That is why the KC Chamber works diligently with state departments of education, legislators and leaders throughout the region to ensure our children are receiving the knowledge and skills necessary for them to be anything they can imagine.

On Monday, July 15, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m., community leaders are invited to join the Missouri Chamber Foundation and the KC Chamber in our board room inside Union Station (30 W. Pershing Rd., KCMO) for a roundtable discussion on childcare and early childhood education, both of which lay a solid foundation of readiness for young learners. You’ll also meet Dr. Karla Eslinger, Missouri Commissioner of Elementary and Secondary Education, who also leads Missouri’s Office of Childhood.

This is a terrific opportunity to meet those leading the work for educational excellence and connect with those who can affect progress for learners in Missouri. Please join us by registering online now!
