David Warm, for 30 years Executive Director of the Mid-America Regional Council (MARC), was named the KC Chamber’s 2020 “Kansas Citian of the Year” at the KC Chamber’s Annual Dinner Tuesday.
“Our honoree can best be described as a ‘servant leader’ – a man who has worked tirelessly for the benefit of our region,” said Alvin Brooks, 2019 Kansas Citian of the Year as he presented the award.

Data shows wearing a mask is the best way to support small businesses across our region. A reduced spread means businesses have a better chance of keeping their doors open. Frontline medical workers are dealing with a surge of new cases. Hospitals are running low on staff and ICU beds to treat those cases.

New officer and Board member terms begin November 1 every year. But this year, the Board approved extending the terms of Chamber officers for another year. The decision was made at the Chamber’s October Board meeting.
