KANSAS CITY, Mo, April 17, 2020: A new emergency relief fund is now available for artists who have been adversely affected by the coronavirus pandemic. In response to the severe impact on Kansas City’s local artist community, Charlotte Street Foundation, Spencer Museum of Art, ArtsKC - Regional Arts Council, with underwriting from the Andy Warhol Foundation for Visual Arts and Theater League Kansas City, are partnering to provide $120,000 in emergency aid.  Read Article

What happens when the law prohibits you from leaving the home you don’t have? From receiving meals and services outdoors to quarantining in a nearby hotel, guests of Hope Faith - Homeless Assistance Campus have been forced to adhere to COVID-19 stay-at-home orders without having a home to stay in. This is why Hope Faith, Kansas City’s Homeless Assistance Campus, moved all services [aside from indoor private showers] outdoors creating Kansas City’s home without a home now throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.  Read Article
