Park University, Metropolitan Community College Commit to Seamless Transfer Process for MCC Graduates

Parkville, Mo.—January 25, 2024 — Leaders from Park University and Metropolitan Community College have signed an articulation agreement that will provide MCC graduates a straightforward path to earning a bachelor’s degree at Park. The two schools entered into the agreement during a ceremony on the University’s flagship Parkville Campus on Jan. 24. Read Article

Park University Hosting Black History Month Conversation Featuring Gwendolyn Grant

Parkville, Mo.—January 22, 2024 — Gwendolyn Grant, president and chief executive officer of the Urban League of Greater Kansas City, will be the featured speaker of a Black History Month program hosted by Park University on Wednesday, Feb. 7. The event will be held in the Jenkin and Barbara David Theater located inside Alumni Hall on the University’s flagship Parkville Campus starting at 1 p.m. A livestream of the program will also be available at parkumedia.com/parkumedia. On behalf of a collaboration of business and civic organizations, we encourage the Jackson County Legislature to take the necessary steps to ensure residents will have the opportunity to vote on the proposed extension of the 3/8 cent sales tax on April 2.We appreciate the diligent negotiations on both sides.
