And that subject got a lot of attention last week: Missouri Governor Mike Parson met with the Chamber Board, and I spent part of Friday with U.S. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg in Kansas City, Kansas as he discussed the possibilities from the bipartisan infrastructure funding bill.

(JAN. 27, 2022) – The Kansas State University Pollution Prevention Institute (PPI) in Manhattan, Kansas, and Shawnee Mission East High School in Prairie Village, Kansas, were recognized by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region 7 for notable achievements and innovations in EPA’s Food Recovery Challenge in 2020 through their promotion of EPA’s Sustainable Management of Food principles.
