Kansas City, MO — Prestige Nissan of Kansas City, Mix 93.3 FM, and Steel City Media have partnered to help Samuel U. Rodgers’ annual Holiday Toy Drive, delivering $1,000 in toys and gifts to the Health Center’s Downtown Campus on Friday. With a $3,000 shortfall in funding for this year’s campaign, the Health Center is in desperate need of donations from the people of Kansas City.

Through the contribution from Prestige Nissan and Corporate Operations Director Greg Weyrauch, Mix 93.3 on-air personality Steve Serrano shopped for gifts for boys and girls between the ages of 9 and 12 Friday morning. He helped deliver the toys to Samuel U. Rodgers Health Center Friday afternoon, where 650 children in need have registered for support this holiday season.

The gifts will be distributed to those pre-registered children and families on Wednesday, December 18th, from 5 PM to 7 PM at the Downtown Campus, located at 825 Euclid Avenue in Kansas City, MO.

Samuel U. Rodgers Health Center has provided gifts and support to families in need during the holiday season for 26 years. The annual Holiday Toy Drive, led by Director of Community Access and Engagement Nina Howard and Community Access Coordinator Dawn Benton, has impacted thousands of Kansas City families since it began in 1993. Those wishing to donate to the Health Center’s Holiday Toy Drive can text “GIVE” to 816.312.4916, or visit rodgershealth.org/events and click the link for our online wish list.
