Spectrum Partners with Goodwill of Western Missouri and Eastern Kansas on Unique Career Fair with Mobile Workforce Unit

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (April 27, 2022) – Spectrum is joining Goodwill of Western Missouri and Eastern Kansas to host a career fair for job seekers in the Kansas City area. Interested applicants can apply in person with a variety of Spectrum teams including customer service, field operations, sales and more! Goodwill will also have its Mobile Workforce Unit on site for job seekers to use for resume assistance as well as help with the application process.

As part of the event, Spectrum and Goodwill will celebrate a $15,000 Spectrum Digital Education Grant to be used to support the Mobile Workforce Unit, a converted RV, to travel to the highest-need neighborhoods, for on-the-spot digital literacy training. The mobile computer lab features 10 desks and laptops, presentation screens and staff to help people make resumes, conduct a job search or check email. This program brings the training room to community members who lack access to transportation, broadband or resources to attend an on-site class.

Goodwill of Western Missouri and Eastern Kansas is a two-time Spectrum grant recipient totaling $35,000, plus in-kind donations.
