Lansing Career Campus
The KC Chamber is working to grow public and private sector partnerships of business, chambers of commerce, community organizations, corrections, faith leaders, workforce, state leaders and returned citizens to build a modern Career Campus at Lansing Correctional Facility (LCF).
The facility will connect residents with college courses and certifications for in-demand industries to prepare them for meaningful employment so that they can provide for their families. Studies show that the formerly incarcerated are one-third less likely to end up back in prison if they are in the workforce with an employer that is committed to their future success.
