Kansas City Accounting Firm MarksNelson to Acquire Wealth Management Firm Integrity Advisory
KANSAS CITY, MO —MarksNelson, Kansas City’s largest locally owned accounting firm, has entered into an agreement to acquire Integrity Advisory, a wealth management firm based in Overland Park, Kansas. Josh Beck, MarksNelson Managing Partner, and Tony Moeller, CPA, President and CEO of Integrity Advisory, jointly made the announcement.
Integrity Advisory, founded in 2005, serves clients throughout the nation. The new firm will operate as MN Wealth Advisors, a subsidiary of MarksNelson, and will be located in Overland Park with Integrity Advisory’s team members remaining in place.
“MarksNelson serves businesses and business owners, often helping owners with comprehensive individual planning,” Beck said. “Because clients increasingly have asked for advice on managing wealth, it made sense for MarksNelson to step into that service area. Several years ago, Integrity Advisory invested heavily in best-in-class technology to enhance the client experience and expand its ability to build high-end portfolios. MarksNelson partners already were working with Integrity Advisory to deliver wealth management advisory services to business clients. Beck said he expects the formalization of the relationship through the acquisition to create more alignment between wealth and CPA advisory services for both firms’ clients.
