Stinson Elects Three New Partners in Missouri

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (January 11, 2023)—Stinson LLP has elected Rachel Price, Chris Sevedge and Chelsea Templeton to the firm's partnership, effective January 1, 2023.

Rachel advocates for clients in a variety of real estate transactions, helping them to leverage the strongest position possible without losing sight of the big picture. She represents landlords and tenants, developers, lenders and real estate investment trusts (REIT) in a variety of industries, including agriculture, financing and environmental. In addition to her work at the firm, Rachel is a member of Synergy Services' Board of Directors and a BOTAR executive committee member. She is also a volunteer for the Junior League of Kansas City and The American Royal. Rachel earned her J.D. from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law.

Chris is a commercial litigator and strategic advisor on matters pertaining to business insurance. Chris represents policyholder clients in connection with insurance coverage litigation and pre-lawsuit counseling for first-party and liability losses and exposures across all forms of commercial insurance products. He also counsels companies on insurance coverage and risk management matters surrounding insolvency, bankruptcy, receivership, mergers, and acquisitions. Chris also regularly represents plaintiffs and defendants in complex commercial litigation matters concerning contract disputes, real estate disputes, and business tort claims. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, and the Nelson-Atkins Museum's Friends of Art. Chris earned his J.D. from the University of Virginia.

Chelsea strategically delivers efficient and effective creative legal solutions for her corporate finance and private equity clients. She focuses her practice on corporate governance and general business law, venture capital investments and mergers and acquisitions. Chelsea's experience spans several industries, including financial services and consumer products, waste management, animal health, energy and technology. In addition, Chelsea is Kansas City Young Audiences board member. Chelsea earned her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law.
