CENTURIONS BOARD SERVICE SYMPOSIUM

Nonprofit organizations and governments play vital roles in addressing local issues and providing services to communities. Both have important boards to help set strategy and govern their work - boards of directors, advisory boards, regulatory boards, commissions, etc. And both rely on volunteer leadership to function. Attend this session to learn more about the types of boards, responsibilities of board members, and issues related to boards in Kansas City, and to hear advice and experiences from inspiring board leaders. At the end, you'll be more prepared to join a board and provide effective leadership to help create the change you want to see! Register here >>

Who should attend?

  • People who have not previously served on a board.
  • People who have previously served on a board, but have not served in a while.
  • People actively serving on one or more boards who wants to learn about issues related to board governance and become an even more effective board leader.
  • Anyone interested in serving on a board and performing to the best of their ability!
