FROM THE KC CHAMBER'S PRESIDENT AND CEO

Let's Vote KC!

Tomorrow is Primary Election Day on both sides of the state line and an important opportunity for voters to select candidates who have the potential to shape the legislative direction of Kansas and Missouri. While at first glance one might assume primaries aren’t as impactful as general elections, the reality is they have significance in advancing candidates who best align with policy positions. In essence, they lay the foundation for the future of state leadership. Voting is always vital; now is not the time to stay home. Be sure to go to your polling location on August 6 to use your voice in advancing candidates who put people ahead of politics.

The business community has spent significant time looking at the candidates and offers support to those we believe will best move KC forward. I recently shared about KC BizPAC, our Political Action Committee in partnership with the Civic Council of Greater Kansas City. It is not affiliated with any political party and is organized to support state and local candidates who take responsible positions on issues involving business and the economic well-being of the Kansas City area and the states of Kansas and Missouri. As you educate yourself ahead of Election Day, I invite you to view which Missouri and Kansas candidates BizPAC supports by clicking here.

Thank you for carefully considering the candidates seeking to represent you, your family, friends and neighbors – and thank you for being an informed voter. See you at the polls!
