The Kansas City Public Library (“Library”) invites qualified applicants to submit proposals for Video Production Services - 150th Anniversary of the Library. Proposals may be submitted in hard print copy and/or email to be received no later than 11:00 a.m. (Local Time), Thursday, March 30, 2023.  All correspondence should be marked “KCPL Video Production Services – 150th Anniversary”. Forbes Names NKCH and MH to America’s Best Midsize Employer List

(North Kansas City, MO, March 3, 2023) – For the second consecutive year, Forbes ranks North Kansas City Hospital and Meritas Health as the top midsize hospital and health system employer in Kansas City. Out of 500 companies, the NKCH and MH system is No. 148 on the list of America’s Best Midsize Employers, up 34 spots for 2023. The complete list is available on the Forbes website. Read Article

COVID-19 RETAIL STOREFRONT PROPERTY TAX RELIEF FUNDING IS STILL AVAILABLE

In June 2022, Kansas bipartisan House Bill 2136 was signed into law, investing $50 million to help small businesses recover from the COVID-19 pandemic. The COVID-19 Retail Storefront Property Tax Relief Program is still available to provide financial assistance to certain businesses impacted by COVID-19 related shutdowns and restrictions during tax years 2020 and 2021.     Read Article
