DEI Certification Mastery & Capstone Program | Small Business Superstars | Neighborhood Networking | and more...

FROM THE KC CHAMBER’S PRESIDENT AND CEO

Creating workplaces where everyone feels they belong is not just the right thing to do—it’s a business imperative. As we continue to build a stronger, more vibrant Kansas City, prioritizing representation and inclusion is essential for fostering innovation, attracting top talent, and driving organizational success.

That’s why I’m excited to invite you to explore Authentico’s DEI Certificate of Mastery and Capstone Program, a comprehensive course designed to empower leaders with the tools and insights needed to build cultures of belonging. This program is currently recruiting for a second cohort and equips participants to drive impactful change, cultivate inclusive environments, and unlock the potential of every member of their teams.

To learn more about this transformative opportunity, join us for an information session on Tuesday, January 28, from 9 to 10 a.m., in the KC Chamber Board Room. This session will provide a detailed overview of the program and offer a chance to engage with fellow leaders who share a commitment to advancing DEI in their organizations. You can learn more and register here.

The business case for advancing inclusion and belonging has never been stronger. Organizations that invest in belonging see enhanced employee engagement, improved decision-making, and stronger financial performance. By participating in this program, you can lead the way in creating workplaces that are not just diverse but truly inclusive.

Register for the information session today and take the first step toward building a more welcoming Kansas City. If you already know you’d like to take part in the second cohort, go ahead and contact KC Chamber Vice President of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Greg Valdovino to secure your seat today.

SMALL BUSINESS SUPERSTARS

Our Small Business Superstars Program is your chance to shine a spotlight on the small businesses that make our community special! We’re calling on you to help us celebrate the passion, creativity, and hard work of small business owners across the region. Whether it’s your go-to coffee shop, a trusted local service provider, or a retailer that always delivers with a smile, now’s the time to share their story.

Submitting is easy! Use the single submission form to share one small business or the multiple submission form if you have several favorites. And you only need to submit an individual small business once for them to be considered a Superstar. Don’t wait—submission forms close on February 3.
