A.L. Huber Construction Announces Employee Stock Ownership Plan Record-Breaking Years Lead To ESOP
Member News

Overland Park, KS – A.L. Huber Construction announced that the fast growing 122 year-old firm has become a 100% employee-owned company. The management team of A. L. Huber is looking forward to the employee stock ownership plan (ESOP) being a catalyst for continued company growth, professional growth of individuals, enhancing the company’s vibrant culture, and creating shared financial success.

As a 100% employee-owned company, the 60-person staff now own shares that will continue to grow in value as the company grows. The added compensation package is an attractive benefit to find and keep talented professionals. Among its many advantages, the ESOP is a retirement fund and a way to build wealth over time while individuals are still working, and as the company’s value increases, the individual shares increase.

“I am so happy for our team to become owners and for everybody to enjoy success now and be rewarded into retirement. I am confident A.L. Huber will continue to thrive as our new owners move the company forward.” said Phil Thomas, CEO. “We are thankful for this significant milestone and thoughtfully reflect on our company’s history that has gotten us to this point. We appreciate the dedication and hard work of our team and look to the future with great anticipation.”
