World Trade Center-Kansas City | Candidates' Showcase | Centurions Information Session | and more...

FROM THE KC CHAMBER’S PRESIDENT AND CEO

Did you know the KC Chamber is one of only three chambers in the entire country that holds a World Trade Center (WTC) license? That distinction puts Kansas City on a very short list — and it matters.

Through our World Trade Center-Kansas City, we’ve spent decades helping regional companies compete and connect globally. Whether you’re navigating trade policy, exploring international markets, or responding to geopolitical curveballs like tariffs, we’re here with the data, resources, and expertise to support you.

But our WTC isn’t just about business. It’s also about building relationships. This June, we’re proud to host the North American Regional Conference of the World Trade Center Association. Delegates from across the continent will be here in KC, and yes, there’s even a panel celebrating our legendary barbecue scene. (Melissa, our WTC-KC Director, is leading that one, so ask her about it — it’s going to be deliciously fantastic.)

Looking ahead to 2026, our region is preparing for the influx of global visitors and foreign dignitaries for the World Cup. With WTC’s support, we’re ready to roll out the red carpet, make a world-class impression, and spark connections that could lead to meaningful economic growth.

If you’re curious about how your business can benefit from WTC-KC’s services, or how you can get involved with upcoming global events, we’d love to talk. Visit www.kcchamber.com/world-trade-center or reach out to our team to learn more. Bottom line: having a World Trade Center here in Greater Kansas City isn’t just a point of pride — it’s a strategic advantage that ensures we’re globally connected, competitive, and ready for what’s next.
