FROM THE KC CHAMBER'S PRESIDENT AND CEO Expect a second recession in mid-2023 (though this one will be milder) with a rebound beginning in 2024. That’s the prediction in the Chamber’s Economic Forecast for 2023 compiled by the Mid-America Regional Council’s Senior Research Director Frank Lenk.
