Merriam, KS-based Morrill & Janes Bank and Trust Company (“Morrill & Janes Bank”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Heartland Financial USA, Inc. (“Heartland”), and Overland Park, KS-based Bank of Blue Valley, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Blue Valley Ban Corp. (“BVBC”), announced their parent companies have entered into a definitive merger agreement pursuant to which BVBC will be acquired by Heartland.
