Kansas City Ballet Announces New Executive Director

KANSAS CITY, MO (May 9, 2023) — CiCi Rojas, president of the Kansas City Ballet Board of Directors, announced today that David Gray has been selected as the new Executive Director, effective July 1, 2023. Mr. Gray will succeed Jeffrey J. Bentley, who has served Kansas City Ballet since August 1998. During Mr. Bentley’s tenure, the company experienced dramatic growth in resources, national reputation, fiscal security, and community awareness. Read Article

A LETTER FROM THE DIRECTOR It’s our favorite time of year at WTC-KC: World Trade Month! During the month of May, we also recognize World Trade Day as part of the larger World Trade Month celebration. Established in 1935 by President Roosevelt, the U.S. has recognized May as World Trade Month, celebrating the importance of international trade to the national economy. Since 1948, World Trade Month has been recognized by Presidential Proclamation. On May 10, WTC-KC is hosting World Trade Day 2023 as a member of the Kansas City International Steering Committee.
